When we will deliver…… Our Delivery Policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed and delivered on the given day of delivery to the customers chosen delivery area in Cape Town. Delivery days are set out on the Website and may change according to the availability of fresh produce.
All orders are dispatched via The Urban Farmers Warehouse. A delivery being delayed is not grounds for return or refund.
You accept that proof of receipt of goods does not mean that you personally signed for the goods, but rather that some or any person at the delivery address signed for and took receipt of the delivery.
When you can return and When we will refund…..
The provision of services and goods by The Urban Farmer is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, The Urban Farmer will either contact you with other options or leave the item out and refund you. this is done by a bank to bank eft process, no credit cards details are necessary
An order can be cancelled before payment by the customer if The Urban Famer has not placed the given order with a supplier for the customers item/s ordered. If payment has been made by the customer for an order, the order can only be cancelled before the order has been dispatched by The Urban Farmer unless it has been ordered by Urban Farmer especially for the customer
If a product is damaged or gone bad when received, you must inform The Urban Farmer within one working day of receiving it. The Urban Farmer will make arrangements to replace the product and to send it to you or to refund you in full for the damaged or gone bad product.
The Urban Farmer offers a 3 day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with a product, please communicate your dissatisfaction to us in the first 3 days of receiving it. If the product is in its original sealed state, you are welcome to bring it back to us or send it back to the address given at the time of your complaint. All courier costs are for your account. Once we have received and inspected the product/s and find that it/they are in the original sealed state, a refund to the full value of the product will be refunded to you. If you have used the product and are not satisfied, we will happily forward your dissatisfaction to the supplier and the decision they arrive at is at it their own discretion and The Urban Farmer will not be held responsible for refunding you.
If you receive the wrong goods, please contact The Urban Farmer within one working day. We will then check if there was a mistake with the picking of your product/s. If we find that there was a mistake in picking your product, The Urban Farmer will arrange to have the wrong product collected and have your account refunded.
We Agree that a sale is made between us when…..
An agreement of sale between The Urban Farmer and a customer is only deemed valid once payment has been made and The Urban Farmer has received proof of payment. Until then, all goods remain the property of The Urban Farmer.
Urban Farmer will take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded here
Urban Farmer totally respects your privacy. What this means is that any and all of the personal information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, rented, loaned, reused or disclosed. Any information you provide will be kept safe and will only be used to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
We accept the following payments….
Payment may be made via a bank to bank EFT process. This process has been selected to ensure your security. No credit card details are needed or recoded anywhere and the EFT process we have selected is efficient and easy. The steps for payment will be provided during the checkout process. There is also the option to pay via credit card or Snapscan, this is entirely up yo you.
Urban Farmer takes responsibility for all aspects relating to a transaction. This includes services and goods sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
It is our intention and mission that all the information on this website is as up to date and accurate as possible, and that no products promoted here cause any harm to our customers or the environment. However, due to the possibility of technical and human error, The Urban Farmer accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of information provided on the website. Neither do we accept responsibility for any adverse or negative reactions caused by any of our products. While we have taken every reasonable step to ensure that the products promoted on this website are of the highest safety and quality, the recommendations on this site are not the advice of a medical practitioner.
