Humus and Being Human 🦋 My return to the cycles from which I live, from which I thrive. From which we all live and we all thrive. Mother Earth, it is you who holds me when I close my eyes. It is the site of you, the smell of you, the taste of you, the touch of you, from which I come. I give gratitude today to you Mother Earth, to Animal, to Humans Being. I give thanks to the farthest reaches of Existence. We are one unified beating heart. Being Human is about the deepest experience of playing our role in the orchestra of a thriving and healthy ecosystem. The experience of a thriving and healthy ecosystem is that experience where we feel deeply happy or deeply grateful. This can be a healthy family ecosystem to a healthy gut ecosystem, to a healthy political or environmental ecosystem. Composting is the simplist and one of the most generous, considerate and connected actions we can take. By giving back the off cuts of our plant based food for nature to digest, we are contributing to a fundamental cycle that keeps Human Beings alive. By returning our off cuts back to the earth we are facilitating in the creation of soil nutrients, which feed the soil, which feeds our food, which we fed to begin with from the very food that was grown previously in that very soil. It is a natural continuous loop of life participating in the promoting and ongoing expression of life’s process which is to continually thrive. Ultimately we are participating in creation. Playing our part in the ecosystem of creation by composting is also instrumental in creating the perfect environment for the life expression of the plant (that becomes our food) to thrive and experience its full expression of life. When we understand this symbiotic relationship we move from doing connected by composting to being connected by composting. It's with a heavy heart that we say farewell to our team. Today will be our last day trading from 278 Main Rd Kenilworth🌿 The last 2 years have been the most unbelievable growth-full and expanded 2 years of my life. The people I have met and the amount of very deep and beautiful conversations I have had are mind blowing. I look back and feel so blessed and truly grateful for all my treasured clients and team, many of whom have become my dear friends. For the confidence you have all given me, I thank you from the deepest valleys of my heart. The work I feel called to do is to awaken our human consciousness around our fundamental connection to our environment. From here we are so much more inclined to make choices that consider all life and ecosystems and most importantly ourselves🌿 The Urban Farmer will continue to metamorphosise but for now, I will embark on my own journey of personal mastery.
